# Overview

Device MCP mirrors your iPhone and iPad on your Mac, lets you control them with your mouse and keyboard, and lets AI coding agents build, tap and test on real hardware.

## 1. Device MCP

Device MCP is a native macOS app that shows your iPhone or iPad live on your Mac. Use your mouse, trackpad and keyboard to control it, and connect AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor so they can build your app, run it on the device and test it, just like a teammate holding the phone.

Nothing is installed on your device. Plug it in, trust your Mac, turn on Developer Mode, and it's ready.

## 2. Features

* 🛠 Build & Run: agents build your Xcode project and launch it on the device in one step.
* 🙋 Human Handoff: when the device needs Face ID or a passcode, Device MCP asks you.
* 🔒 Private by design: everything runs on your Mac.
