The UI hierarchy part is what makes this different from screen-scraping. If the agent can see hidden and off-screen buttons, it's testing the app, not just tapping pixels and hoping.

Letting Claude/Codex fully control a real iPhone for testing is a big step. The more the agent can close the loop on real devices, the less manual verification we have to do.
