Crash Reports & Logs

Browse, open and save crash reports, spins, logs and diagnostics from your iPhone or iPad.

When your app crashes on a device, the report is one click away. The Reports tab of the Inspector lists the reports saved on the device.

1. Open the Reports tab

  1. Show the Inspector with the toolbar button, or press ⌥⌘0.
  2. Click the Reports tab.
  3. Choose a type at the top: Crashes, Spins, Logs or Diagnostics.

Use the filter field to find the reports of one app.

2. Work with reports

  • Double-click a report to open it.
  • Drag a report to Finder, Xcode or an email to share it.
  • Right-click for Open, Show in Finder, Save As… and Delete from Device…

3. With an AI agent

Your agent can list the device's crash reports and read them, so it can find why your app crashed and fix it. For apps it built with Build & Run, the report points to the lines in your code. See MCP.
